I wrote this song about family. I was seeing a lot of friends and relatives, including people I had been in bands with, have their own children. Seeing them pass along their love of music down to them was something beautiful and special. When I was a child my parents did the same thing for me. I grew up hearing the music they loved, played, and performed. It's amazing still to see that passed down to future generations. Combined with it are Heathen themes of ancestral reincarnation, folk-spirit, and reverence for those who came before us.
