One of the earliest Frost Giant songs, this one explores the myth of Ragnarok. It's a pretty straight forward telling from the perspective of the Einherjar, who are fallen warriors who were claimed by Odin to dwell in Valhalla until the final battle between the gods and the Jotuns.

On the bloody field of battle, we were not to win this day.
So we fought without hope- our only goal to make them pay.
Though we killed a dozen score, we were slain to the man
And as my sight began to fade, I saw the Valkyrie descend from on high
For this we gave our lives, to fight by Odin's side
To defend Asgard from the mighty hordes of Jotunheim
We'll storm the Ship of Nails, we'll walk through Surtr's flame
At the sound of Gjallar-horn we'll fight and die in Odin's name!

As they cross the rainbow bridge, condemned souls arise from the mist!
The poisomn breath of Jormundgand tries to wrest <jolnir from the Thunderer's hand
The Fenris Wolf carries Odin to his Wyrd, and by his son, Vidar, he is avenged,
And as the gods and giants kill each other, there will soon be nothing left to defend.
Nothing left...
Carry me to my fate,
Glorious Valhalla awaits!
On the day when we take the field
Our enemies shall taste the steel
Of the thousands of the fallen
The halls will crowd with the Chosen
Though there will seem too few
